A touching memorial of Charles Lamb by Thomas Noon Talfourd, containing many letters by Lamb which had been previously unpublished.

Letters in this work include Lamb's to Coleridge, Hazlitt, and Wordsworth.

Bookplate of F. Robinson to the front paste down.

A new edition.

Condition

In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards by Palmer & Howe of Manchester. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the boards and spine, a little heavier to the head of the joints. Spine is faded. Very light bumping to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age toned and clean.
