A second edition of this volume concerned with the training of dogs for sportsmen in the mid-nineteenth century, written by General W. N. Hutchinson. A scarce work in all editions. 

With a frontispiece and further illustrations.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally with shelf wear, chipped to head and tail of spine and extremities, back strip faded. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1851. Internally, binding generally firm. Pages very clean throughout.
