Written by James R. Hobbes, a British author and art historian.

Condition

In the original half crushed morocco with cloth boards. Externally, very smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and rear board of volume one with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot. Further spotting to the endpapers and title page with light age toning.
