'Paradise Lost' is an epic poem written in blank verse, an biblical poem that tells the story of the Fall of Man, being the temptation of Adam and Eve and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and eleven plates.

John Milton was a noted English poet of the seventeenth century, considrred to be one of the best English poets of all time.

Condition

In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with a little loss to the head of the spine. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Crack to the head of the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some odd spots.
