Illustrated, Scarce

Illustrated with many vignettes, and two hand-coloured maps of the world to the front. Including stories from Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Australia. Samuel Griswold Goodrich (August 19, 1793 – May 9, 1860) was an American author, better known under the pseudonym Peter Parley.

Condition

In a red cloth binding. Externally, sound, though with some rubbing and marks. Slight wear to the head and tail of the spine also, with front joint starting. Hinges tender. Internally, binding strained. Pages are bright, though with some scattered instances of foxing.
