Two volumes in one, rebound in a cloth binding in Oxford, 8th May 1964, by Maltby, with the binder's stamp to the rear paste down.

Bookplate of Thomas Parker to the front paste down. Ink inscription to the front free end paper.

The first and second portions of this collection of letters from the English Reformation, translated from authenticated copies of the autographs, and edited for The Parker Society by the Rev. Hastings Robinson (1792–1866). This work, rebound in one volume, gives an intimate insight into a turbulent period of English history.

Robinson was an English Church of England clergyman and Anglican divine.

Condition

Rebound in a cloth binding by Maltby, Oxford, 1964. Externally, very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Light offsetting to the end papers.
