The set consists of: Volume I January-July 1840, Volume V January-July 1842, Volume IX January-June 1844, Volume X July-December 1844, Volume XIV July-December 1846, Volume XX July-December 1849, Volume XXIV July-December 1851, Volume XXV January-June 1852, Volume XXVII January-June 1853, Volume XXXIX January-June 1859, Volume XLI January-June 1860, Volume XLIII January-June 1861, Volume XLIV July-December 1861, Volume LVIII July-December 1868, Volume LIX January-June 1869, Volume LXXV January-June 1877 and Volume CIX January-June 1894.

    Condition

    In cloth bindings with gilt lettering to the spines. Externally, worn. Bumped to head and tail of spines, resulting in small tears and slight loss to cloth. Lifting to head of backstrip, volume XIV. Sunning to most volumes. Damp staining to some volumes, particularly to Volume XXXIX. Hinges weak. Internally, binding tender, loosening in places. Pages generally bright and clean. Bookplate to front pastedown, volume XXXIX and LIX. Bookseller's labels to front pastedown in some volumes.
