Considered to be the best edition of this work first published in smaller format in 1841. Volume I of II. An important early account of the Oregon country, this work became an effective propaganda piece for boosters of American control of Oregon.

Condition

Rebound in half morocco bindings. Externally, in excellent condition with just some minor shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with patches of spotting throughout. Ink inscription to title page.
