A very scarce volume seen institutionally only at the University of Southampton Library and the University of Oxford Libraries, dated from the latter copy.
A pocket sized guide to embroidery, including chapters on needlework, netting, knitting, crocheting, &c. A charming little book with numerous illustrations in text, complete with additional coloured engraved title page printed by C. Graft.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Previous ownership inscription to front pastedown, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean.
