    Two volumes of this scarce German masonic quarterly, 'Latomia'.

    Providing a detailed history of Freemasonry in Europe, as well as an explanation as to the relation of Christianity to masonic philosophy. This work also includes an exploration of the masonic lodges of Germany.

    Also including a selection of poetical ruminations on freemasonry.

    Volume I illustrated with hand-coloured frontispiece, and three plates. 

    Volume II illustrated with hand-coloured frontispiece, and three plates.

    Eight pages of adverts to each volume.

    Condition

    In a half morocco binding with paper to the boards. Externally, rubbed. Front joint of Volume I is starting. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with loss to the head of the spine of Volume II. Small crack to the head of the spine of Volume I. Light marks to the boards. Cracks to the rear joint of Volume II. Hinges are starting but firm. Stamp to the recto of the front endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and spotted. Pages 215-218 of Volume I are detaching.
