Wordsworth modernised 'The Cuckoo and the Nightingale' and 'Extract From Troilus and Cressida'. Barrett Browning modernised 'Queen Annelida and False Arcite'. Leigh Hunt modernised 'The Manicple's Tale', 'The Friar's Tale', and 'The Squire's Tale'.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with just a few minor marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Bookseller's labels to the pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few odd spots. The occasional pencil line to the text.
