With plates taken from Mr. Britton's "Dictionary of the Architecture and Archaeology of the Middle Ages", the copyright of which was bought by the publisher. Compiled by the English archeologist, architectural writer and publisher, John Henry Parker. The half title page is present. With an advertisement for the work to the front of the volume.
