Three volumes of the life of the Duke of Wellington, bound into two volumes in full calf bindings, with the binder's label of William McIntyre Junior to the front paste downs. 16 plates and a vignette title page to Volume I. 19 plates, a vignette title page, 1 map and 1 folding map to Volume II. Undated, dated through copies held at the British Library. An comprehensive biography concerning the life and campaigns of Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington.

Condition

In full calf bindings. Externally smart, though somewhat rubbed. Faint stain to the front board of Vol II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean except for the odd spot. A scattering of spots and small tidemarks to the plates, not affecting the illustrations.
