The second edition of this work. Chapters concern astronomical instruments, the meridian plane, latitude, the sun's motion, time, refraction, parallax, and more. Illustrated with four folding plates. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards. Externally with shelf wear, boards and head and tail of spine bumped and rubbed, spine label chipped, joints starting, holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean.
