Written by George Moir Bussey, best known for this work. 

Illustrated throughout with vignette engravings by Horace Vernet.  

Complete in two volumes.

Condition

In a half calf binding. Externally generally smart; a little rubbed to the spine, in particular to the head and tail as well as the extremities. Boards have a little wear. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little spotted.
