First Edition

The first edition of this work, complete in three volumes. With errata slips to volume II and III. Alfred Bunn was an English theatrical manager. He was stage manager of Drury Lane Theatre, London, Theatre Roayl Birmingham as well as Covent Garden Theatre. Bunn's control of the London theatres was extremely successful in an artistic sense. A fascinating work, giving great insight into nineteenth century theatre.
