What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Original Binding, Very Scarce

The first edition of this very scarce work.

A prospectus for the proposed Queen's College of Bath, proposed by the city's architect George Phillips Manners.

This college was proposed as a rival to Oxford and Cambridge, though the project was never seen through, presumably due to lack of funds.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine and extremities of the boards are faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A couple of light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with spots to the first and last few pages.
