Author Samuel Griswold Goodrich's work educating children on the geography of the Bible, here published under his pseudonym, Peter Parley. This is a first edition revised and adapted by the Reverend Samuel Blair.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally smart, with light fading to the spine and minor shelfwear to the top and tail of the spine. Owner's inscription dated 1867 on the recto of front endpaper. Internally generally firmly bound, though slightly strained in some places. Bookseller's label to the rear endpaper, 'Stanley Scott, Somerset'. Pages very bright and clean.
