With an array of charming stories, originally aimed at adults but eventually entered into the education system as required learning for children.
Condition
In full calf binding. Externally, with heavy wear to the extremities, notably to the spine which has most leather rubbed. Marks to the boards and with parts of leather coming away to the head of spine. Hinges are weak. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot, heaviest to the endpapers. Pages 5-8 are chipped to the bottom right corners.
