Decorative Binding, Early Edition, Illustrated, Very Scarce

A very scarce third edition copy of Ingram Cobbin's 'Elementary Steps to Geography and Astronomy'. This work was meant to be used for instructional purposes, covering the very basics of geography and astronomy, and containing questions for the students to be posed to students for examination. The book contains many illustrations, maps and moveable pieces, including an interactive, moveable frontispiece. Ingram Cobbin also wrote other instructional works, including 'Elements of English Grammar', 'Elements of Arithmetic', and 'Elements of Geography'.

Condition

Bound in full cloth. Externally, smart with some discolouration to the spine and slight bumping to head and tail of spine. Internally, hinges are tender, especially to title page. Internally, binding is generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean.
