A scarce first edition. In the publisher's original cloth binding. A comprehensive list of botanical lexicon, with detailed scientific explanations. With an extensive section on zoology at the end of the book. Written by the Rev. Patrick Keith, rector of Ruckinge in Kent and author of 'A System of Physiological Botany'.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with some marks to the boards and shelf wear to the edges. Splitting to the upper extremity of the rear board. Fading to the spine. Spotting to the free endpapers and paste-downs. Internally, firmly bound. Binding slightly worn. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot, heavier towards the front. Some light age-toning to the edges. A few pages are uncut throughout.
