A lovely work exploring the caricatures of John Kay, a noted Scottish artist who published his first caricature in 1784, depicting James Robertson of Kincraigie, "the daft highland laird".

This lavishly illustrated work provides a unique look at the social life of Edinburgh during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century.
