What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

A scarce first edition.

Courthope's work provides extensive genealogical information about the families who held baronetcies that have since ceased to exist. It includes the lineage, notable members, and significant events associated with these families.

Endpapers renewed, but retaining the original half title. Title page unopened to head.

Courthope places the baronetcies within their historical context, explaining how and why they became extinct, and covers the political, social, and economic factors contributing to the extinction of their titles.

Condition

In the original cloth backed pictorial paper covered boards, with title label to back strip. Externally, very smart indeed. Endpapers renewed.
