The first edition of this work. A very scarce work. A selection of sermons by Richard Bingham. This work contains twenty sermons, including 'Our Fallen Nature', 'The Intercessor', 'Popular Difficulties Removed', 'Hardness of Heart', 'The Unprofitable Reception of the Gospel', 'The Tears of Contrition', 'The Reward of the Faithful', and more. Richard Bingham was the curate of the Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity at Gosport, in the diocese of Winchester. Most of Bingham's early work was by subscription and was principally devoted to reform.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, the head of the spine is lifting. Light fading to the rear board. Minor marks to the boards and spine. Discolouration to the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot.
