Written by Adam Sedgwick, a British geologist and priest. At the time of publication he was a Woodwardian professor and fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. This work is an expansion of a lecture delivered in the Chapel of Trinity College, on the day of the annual commemoration in December. 

Condition

In a contemporary full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Bumping to the extremities. Spine has faded. Internally, firmly bound. Tidemarks to the head of front pastedown and endpaper. Pages are bright with just the odd spot.
