    Description

    Illustrated, Scarce

    The Wreck Ashore is a drama in two acts which was performed at the Theatre Royal, Adelphi

    John Baldwin Buckstone was an English actor, playwright and comedian who wrote one hundred and fifty plays. 

    With a frontispiece by Kennedy Meadows. 

    Dated from the dedication.

    A scarce copy, with only two copies held at the University of Cambridge Libraries and British Library.

    Condition

    In quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with some loss to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with age toned pages which remain clean.
