Written by James Dallaway, an English antiquary, topographer, and miscellaneous writer. Dallaway also printed county histories including one on the western parts of Sussex. He had previously printed a separate publication on the itinerary of William Worcester, who chronicled the architecture of Bristol. His survey became a valuable resource to historians and antiquaries.
Condition
Rebound, in a quarter calf binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Occasional light spots to pages.
