Original Binding

Sophocles is one of the three ancient Greek tragedians whose first plays have survived. Only seven of 123 of his plays have survived in a complete form, among which are 'Ajax', 'The Women of Trachis', and 'Oedipus The King'. With publisher's advertisements to the front.

Condition

In a cloth binding with paper spine label. Externally a trifle rubbed. Front joint starting but still reasonably firm. Pages generally bright and clean throughout.
