What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Rebound

The first edition of William Berry's extensive and impressively detailed study of the genealogy of Hertfordshire and its major families.

Consisting of countless pedigrees and genealogical tables and charts, Berry collected the information presented here from heraldic visitations, 'authentic manuscripts' found in the British Museum, and private records.

Rebound in full cloth and retaining the original half title, the stamp of the 'Incorporated Law Society' appears to the half title, title page, head of two further leaves, and to final leaf.

Condition

Rebound in full cloth, with endpapers renewed. Externally fine. Internally, firmly bound. Library stamp to half title, title page, head of two further leaves, and to final leaf. Reinforcements to title page perimeter. Pages generally clean and bright, with light handling marks to first few leaves, and the odd spot. Significant handling marks to first leaf of preface.
