First edition. Thomas Addison (April 1793 – 29 June 1860) was a renowned 19th-century English physician and scientist. He is traditionally regarded as one of the "great men" of Guy's Hospital in London.
Condition
In a paper covered binding. Externally, worn with backstrip missing and both boards detached but present. Ink marks and a small label to front board. Internally, final page detached with rear board but otherwise textblock is generally firmly bound and bright with scattered light foxing. Institutional ink stamps to title page and the occasional further page of text.
