Condition

In a green half calf binding with worn marbled boards and gilt lined spine. Externally, sound with slight rubbing and wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound with some foxing. There are patterned end papers; with the leaf before the title-page torn out. There is a David Arthur Pailin bookplate to the front pastedown and an ink inscription dated 1977 by David Arthur Pailin to the verso of front free-end paper.
