This is a first edition copy of County Genealogies, Pedigrees of the Families in the County of Kent, Collected from the heraldic visitations and other authentic manuscripts in the British Museum, and in the possession of Private individuals, and from the information of the present resident families. 

This books is dedicated to John-Jeffreys Pratt, Marquis Camden, K.G. and forms an important contribution to the history of Kent. 

There is a loose colour plate of the Arms of Admiral Sir William Essington as depicted on the monument in Wandsworth Old Church.

Condition

Re-bound in cloth. Externally, very smart. There are a few light marks to the rear board and spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. There is a stamp to the dedication page and preface page for the Incorporated Law Society. The odd scattered spot throughout.
