What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition

Conversations on the Art of Miniature Painting by Emma E. Kendrick is a fascinating volume that records the discussions of Miss K and Ellen on the art of miniature painting.

Portrait miniatures were first painted at the courts of Henry VIII in the 1520s and developed from the older medieval art of 'illuminated' hand written books with colourful illustrations and decorative borders.
