In three parts: Special Anatomy; Morbid Anatomy; Zoology and Comparative Anatomy. With an introduction by the author, tables and detailed observations.
The first edition of this work, arranged and edited by Thomas Hodgkin, British physician, one of the most prominent pathologists of his time and pioneer in preventive medicine. He is well known for his account of Hodgkin's disease, and was a contemporary of Thomas Addison and Richard Bright at Guy's Hospital.
