The first edition.

A very scarce poem, written by James Jennings. Jennings also wrote 'The Pleasures of Ornithology. A Poem' and 'Observations on the Dialects of the West of England'. 

An illustrated frontispiece and a vignette title page to both parts. 

Gift inscription to the head of title page, dated 1847.

Condition

In a half calf binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. Patches of light rubbing to the paper covered boards as well as to the joints and extremities.
