This is a smart three volume set of The Chronicles of Canongate in the second series written by Sir Walter Scott.
The Chronicles of Canongate is a collection of stories by Scott and are named after Canongate in Edinburgh.
Sir Walter Scott was a Scottish historical novelist, poet, playwright and historian and many of his works remain classics of European and Scottish Literature.
Condition
Bound in full calf leather. Externally, smart. There are a few marks to the boards and a little fading to the spines. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd scattered spot. There is a watermark to last couple of pages of volume one.
