Very Scarce

A very scarce work, comprising of letters addressing the state of economy and prosperity in the United Kingdom. 

Two letters are addressed to the Right Hon. George Canning, who was a British statesman and politician and, briefly, Prime Minister. One of them is regarding the present ministry and the issues facing the government at the time.

The second is a 'Plan for Improving the Revenue of the Country.'

There is a second edition of a 'Letter to the Electors of Bridgenorth on the Corn Laws' by W. W. Whitmore. This is then followed by 'Observations on Corn Laws' addressed back to W. W. Whitmore in response. 

Condition

In the publisher's paperback. Front cover is detached and missing. Externally, worn to the extremities with marks to the rear wrap. Chips and loss to the spine. Internally, first few leaves are disbound but present. The rest of the internal is loosening but generally firmly bound. Some leaves are at risk of detaching with further handling. Pages are age toned but generally clean with the occasional spot.
