The text in this volume is intended to accompany the first eleven plates of Reichard's atlas, a very scarce work also first published in 1824. This is the first and only text volume published.
The work of German cartographer Christian Gottlieb Reichard, who collaborated with Adolf Steiler on a number of geographical and topographical works.

In the original paper covered boards. Bumping to back strip head and tail and board perimeters. Small closed tear to paper spine label. Small tear to tail of front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
