    Description

    Illustrated, Leather Binding

    Including the old and new testaments, with an introduction and notes by Adam Clark. With illustrated frontispiece, and illustrated with decorative plates, tables and maps throughout. Adam Clark was a British Methodist theologian. He is best known for writing a comprehensive biblical commentary. This volume contains an introduction and additional notes of this religious text. No collation available, but appears to be complete.

    Condition

    In full calf binding. Externally worn. Front board is detached but present. Heavy rubbing to the spine, to the head and tail, raised band and joints. Spine is lifting slightly to the head. Cracks to the spines raised bands. Marks to the front and rear board. Agetoning to the topedge, foreedge and bottomedge. Offsetting to the front and rear endpapers and pastedowns. Slight spotting to the front and rear endpapers and pastedowns. Creasing to the front endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are agetoning throughout. Large closed tear to the illustrated title page, no more than 11cm. Spotting and handling marks throughout. Slight creasing to some of pages throughout the volume.
