What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Leather Binding, Scarce

A remarkable dictionary of works frequently used in Suffolk which foreign ears would find confusing.

Really quite hard to find. Especially in an acceptable condition.

Written by Edward Moor, a British Indologist and writer.

The first edition of this uncommon work.

Condition

In a full straight grain morocco binding. Externally a trifle worn; some loss to the head of the spine, which is a little cracked and rubbed. Front joint is starting to the tail. Extremities are bumped. Two contemporary ownership bookplates to the front pastedown; a more recent bookplate to the front endpaper. Contemporary inscriptions to the verso of the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a little strain to the front hinge. Pages have the odd spot.
