Description

Written by Abbe Dominique de Fourt de Pradt (1759-1837), a French ambassador. He was a secretary of Napoleon, before becoming French ambassador in Warsaw. Following the Napoleonic Wars, he wrote numerous works which portrayed Russia as being power-hungry and seeking to conquer Europe.
