Comprising of first editions of the pamphlets. The Pamphlet for the 'Prefect Friendship' lodge is a revision of the by-laws which were first constituted in 1824. Prior owner has omitted and rephrased several of the laws. With lists of members to some of the pamphlets. A fascinating look at the bye-laws of various lodges in the East of England in addition to one Canadian Lodge, from the reference library of a lodge in the South East of England. With the bookplate of the Lodge of Harmony, Hants to the recto of front pastedown. The 'Lodge of Harmony' was first warranted in 1796 and is lodge no 309. The lodge of Harmony merged with moderns to become the United Grand Lodge of England.

Condition

In a half calf binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. To the bottom of spine is a shelf label from the lodge. With the bookplate of the Lodge of Harmony, Hants to the recto of front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. To the 'St John's Lodge Kingston' there are several pencil annotations. Otherwise, just the odd spots.
