Written by William Godwin, under the pen name Edward Baldwin, an English journalist, political philosopher and novelist.

Condition

Bound in modern quarter calf with marbled boards. Externally, smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities with further age toning to the endpapers. Pencil annotations and marks throughout.
