What Our Customers Say...
Description
Early Edition, Leather Binding
Comprising 'The Fudge Family in Paris' (7th edition) and 'Replies to the Letters of the Fudge Family in Paris' (1st edition), and 'Tom Crib's Memorial to Congress' (3rd edition).
'The Fudge Family in Paris' is an epistolary novel in verse. This volume follows the fictional Fudge family in Paris, exploring the social and political climate of France in the wake of Napoleonic War. Comedic in tone the novel was incredibly popular, and saw numerous imitations. 'Replies' is the sequel to the original work, and shows the responses from the Fudge family's correspondents.
'Tom Crib's Memorial to Congress' is one of the earliest books with substantial boxing content. Moore uses boxing slang to satirize the Holy alliance and the Congress system.
All three works are scarce, even more in this bound together state.
