Nineteenth edition of this work. A dictionary of pronunciation of the English language, with useful tips on letters, syllables, and words and directions for foreigners. 

Condition

Rebound in half calf over marbled boards, renewed endpapers. Externally generally smart with some shelf wear, rubbed to spine and extremities, some fading to back strip. W. Bowman's bookplate to front pastedown, most likely bookseller and stationer of Tunbridge Wells. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to first few leaves, otherwise pages generally bright and clean.
