What Our Customers Say...
Description
Leather Binding
With the life of the author. Lawrence [Laurence] Sterne was an Anglo Irish novelist best known for his novel The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy. Sterne was also an Anglican clergyman and published sermons and memoirs. Tristram Shandy is a humorous novel which purports to be a biography of the titular character and narrated by him. Its style is marked by digression and exaggeration and as such one of the central jokes in the novel is the length of time it takes for any event to be explained, particularly Tristram's birth. Complete in four volumes.
