A very scarce broadsheet newspaper for Bath and Cheltenham, and the surrounding areas, including Bristol and Gloucester. This is Vol. 5 No. 253, for Wednesday August 6th, 1817.

This newspaper contains a wide selection of advertisements and notices for local companies, as well as articles on local, nation, and global news, such as "Trial of a Chimneysweeper for the Murder of his Apprentice Boy by cruel treatment", "Catholic Mission in China", "Anecdotes of the celebrated Actress Mrs. Jordan", and more, as well as notices on local events and auctions.

Unbound, as issued. Externally, worn, with small chips and tears, mostly to the backstrip. Pages are age-toned with light handling marks. Stamp to the final leaf.
