Condition
In a quarter vellum binding paper covered boards. Externally, boards and spine are rubbed. Marks to the boards including a tidemark to the rear board, and a smaller tide mark to the front board. Ink to the front board and to the head of the spine. Spine is discoloured, as is usual with vellum. Minor bumping to the extremities. Bound without endpapers, with the frontispiece adhered to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with some spots and marks, as well as a few ink marks. Small tide mark to the last few pages. Small closed tear to the last leaf of text. Prior owner's ink inscription to the title page.
