What Our Customers Say...

Description

Early Edition, Leather Binding

A narrative poem by Sir Walter Scott arranged in six cantos, set in Teesdale during the English Civil War.

A popular work, which saw five editions in the year of publication, and sold ten thousand copies in its first three months.

The poem grew from Scott's friendship with J. B. S. Morritt, whose home at Rokeby Park is the setting of the poem.

A smart copy of this early edition of Scott's work.
