Description

Leather Binding

John Locke (1632-1704) was an English philosopher known as one of the most important figures of the Enlightenment and as the 'father of Liberalism'. Following in the footsteps of Sir Francis Bacon as an early empiricist, his theory of mind is seen as an originator of identity and self. His major works covered politics, education, human understanding, Christianity and toleration.

The eleventh edition of this work.

Volume I is illustrated with a frontispiece and a folding table.
